How many of you out there love Kim Kardashian’s smokey eye look? I know I do. It is sultry and glamorous, so I decided to share with you all how to get her look. I know I will be rocking this look on Valentine’s day for sure! Check it out. I also decided to add the youtube video so that you can learn how to achieve this look too. Have fun!
Wow, I can’t believed I missed the VMA’s this year. I always love looking at the red carpet fashion from the show, so I decided to search the blogsphere to see what I missed out. After searching I felt like I did not miss a darn thing which is so disappointing. The only look from the red carpet that I loved was Rihanna’s. She look so refreshing in this soft yellow flirty dress by Zac Posen. Does anyone know who was her stylist for this event?
I thought the dress was nice and sweet, but what do you all think of this one for her this year? Hit or Miss? On another note, her make-up was lovely! I want to have her lashes! I know that they are lash extensions, right?
To get her look I had to find some of my favorites brands to share with you all. Check it out!!
Eyelights in beam by Smashbox for $34. These shadows are Inspired by bright studio lights, these color-coordinated palettes each offer three mega-watt metallic shades that light up your eyes. Use wet for concentrated color or dry for a less intense shine. But before you get your shadows on don’t forget about priming your eyes for extended stay. My favorite primer is the Eyeshadow Primer Potion from Urban Decay for $16. Bronzer in Glow, by Lorac is a must for only $28. This bronzer is a stable in a make-up bag for sure. It gives the skin color that literally glows. For the lips try Lip of Luxury Champagne Essence Lipstick in nude by Too Faced Cosmetics for $18. Now once you get your color together don’t forget about the lashes! If your are lucky to have long lashes then flaunt them, but if you are like me buy them! Lashes are like the icing on the cake. I love these from MAC for $12.
Well, I am off to ding through my make-up kits to see if I can pull this look off. If I have success I will post some pics! In the meantime have fun listening to one of my fav Rihanna songs. And no, it is not Umbrella. Is Disturbia!!
Au Revoir!
