How would I describe John Galliano’s spring RTW collection? Here is a definition that purely describes it.

ro·man·ti·cism

1. often Romanticism An artistic and intellectual movement originating in Europe in the late 18th century and characterized by a heightened interest in nature, emphasis on the individual’s expression of emotion and imagination, departure from the attitudes and forms of classicism, and rebellion against established social rules and conventions.
2. Romantic quality or spirit in thought, expression, or action.

His collection was very beautiful!! The colors were very soft, pale colors with the soft feeling of luxury and pure femininity. Check out this clip from his show I found on style.com.

The one piece that was striking to me was this one below. What a elegant dress to wear to a upcoming valentine’s day party or dinner if you are ever so bold to do so! It’s so soft and frilly with multitudes of ruffles. The dress will sure caught your man’s attention, heck any man for the matter.

Now, I sure wish that I could afford that red hot number, but I am sure this will break the bank, savings, etc. Any takers on the cost of this beauty? Hee hee. So I decided to find a short and sexy watered down version of this dress. This dress by BCBG Max Azria would be a perfect fit for the feeling of Galliano’s version. What do you think? This short and sassy Micro Taffeta Dress is perfect for a Valentines days look for a fun cocktail party or dinner.

You can find this dress at Saks for $400.00 and still pull off a fresh spring 2008 look without breaking the bank and also have money left to enjoy a romantic dinner or party with your love.
